In a rare moment that I posted a comment on myspace.com, I thought what I posted to be a fair enough reply to a post on the subject of
"What is "normal?""

My reply was,
"Being "normal" is when it's time to lay down and die! haha
In the West here we've fought many enemies that want to destroy our right for free speech and self expression.
It totally puzzles me that some people are so eager to conform, "fit in" and "be normal".
Be whoever it is that you want to be, in memory of the people that gave their lives or struggled to uphold our way of life!"

A light heated comment on the way I see life. Be whoever you want to be, cause life is way too short.

However this clown replied with this little gem,the following reply I recieved made me roll my eyes and laugh!!!

"Wow! I never thought I'd see someone turn the topic of "what's normal" into something nationalistic. Isn't it slightly propaganda-ish to claim that people who hate Americans therefore hate democracy and right to free speech and self-expression? What about non-Americans who also live in a democracy with the right to free speech and self-expression? They must have other reasons, then. USA isn't the only country with those things. Speaking in a way that implies it's USA vs the world (good? vs bad?) is what makes non-Americans hate Americans so much.

Most of the middle Eastern countries that hate the US hate it because the US keeps interfering in their lives. That's why they attacked 3 Septembers ago. I'm not saying it was okay...just that the US wouldn't have been attacked, if the US didn't keep invading other countries...sometimes against the UN's permission. The only reason no country has tried to attack or invade the US (since 1941) is that ever since then, the US has been spending billions on weapons of mass destruction. Maybe if the UN had sent inspectors in to find and destroy those weapons, the US wouldn't have had the nerve to invade so many other countries. Have you seen that South Park episode about Bush's war?
(I hope you feel that I also have a right to free speech and self-expression, even though I don't blindly go along with propaganda speeches)
I assumed you were in USA, because it's usually Americans who say "fought to keep our country free". I've never heard someone from another country say that phrase, except for sometimes Canadians.
Americans used to say it in reference to the Germans, and before that in reference to England. Now they say it in reference to the Middle East, even though the Middle East isn't interested in invading the US. They just want the US to stay away from them. Attacking NYC was a bad idea...that just gave Bush an excuse to invade countries that weren't even involved in the attack. Since when did Saddam crash those planes? I thought they decided it was Bin Laden...even though there's no absolute proof of that. And even if there was, how does a rebel group attacking the US give Bush the right to bomb the whole country of Afghanistan? At least Bin Laden thought it was self-defense. Bush was just getting even, and not even with the right people! What if a bunch of American guys from Louisiana decided to blow up a building in a Middle Eastern country? Would that make ALL of USA terrorists, and therefore make it okay for that country to bomb USA?
I'm glad there's an American election soon! Things will be a lot safer after that (if Bush doesn't use his connections to become president again)."

As you can see! myspace people really know how to party huh? hahahaha
